The launch of this multilateral institution was marked by a congratulatory letter from Chinese President Xi Jinping, followed by the formal declaration of its establishment by Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang. Representing the Asia-Pacific region's research and innovation sector, the Asia Academy of Digital Economics (AADE) attended the opening ceremony as a distinguished member of the organization's inaugural cohort.

The World Data Organization was established with a clear and urgent mandate: to bridge the global data divide, unlock the intrinsic value of data assets, and drive the sustained prosperity of the digital economy.
