On November 29, 2025, the 2025 Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Conference in Singapore convened a high-level assembly of global entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers under the theme: "Embark on a New Journey: Introduce New Entrepreneurs of Zhejiang, Explore New Frontiers of Technology".

The summit served as a strategic platform to showcase the Zhejiang entrepreneurs spirit of innovation and its integration with the cutting-edge technological landscape of Southeast Asia. AADE co-organized the event in partnership with the Singapore Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Association, with AADE President Tan Poh Hwee delivering a keynote address on the "ASEAN Resonance" of Embodied AI.

High-Level Engagement

The morning conference was honored by the presence of Guest of Honor Ms. Sim Ann, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs of Singapore. In her keynote address, she highly commended the conference theme, "New Tech · New Zhejiang Entrepreneurs," and underscored the tremendous potential for collaboration between Singapore and Zhejiang in technological innovation, cross-border trade, and youth entrepreneurship. A Convergence of Policy, Capital, and Tech

The conference featured a rare gathering of over 60 global leaders, including legendary investor Jim Rogers and key representatives from the "Hangzhou Six Little Dragons." High-tech pioneers like BrainCo, a leader in non-invasive brain-computer interface technology, and Unitree Robotics provided multidimensional strategies for navigating digital transformation. Notably, discussions between the Ministers and Zhejiang entrepreneurs also highlighted a shared commitment to future collaborations in Singapore's philanthropic and social impact sectors.

In a landmark fusion of technology and business, the event debuted a high-tech greeting party featuring Unitree's AI humanoids and quadruped robots. Upon their arrival at the main hall, the Ministers were welcomed by an AI robot and escorted by a robotic dog leading the procession. This symbolic transition from traditional protocol to "tech etiquette" vividly illustrated the new era of Zhejiang entrepreneurs—one defined by a deep integration with cutting-edge innovation.

Keynote: The "ASEAN Resonance" of Embodied AI

Invited by Mr. Fang Jiangang, President of the Singapore Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Association, Mr. Poh Hwee Tan, President of the Asia Academy of Digital Economics (AADE), delivered a keynote address titled: "What is 'New': Chinese Narrative and ASEAN Resonance in the Era of Embodied AI".

Tan’s speech focused on the shift from digital abstraction to physical intelligence. He argued that "New Tech" in 2025 is defined by Embodied AI—intelligence that interacts directly with the physical world. He highlighted that the "Chinese Narrative" of rapid hardware-software integration is finding a powerful "Resonance" in ASEAN’s industrial upgrading and urban service sectors.

"The true 'New' is not just the technology itself, but the synergy created when Chinese innovation narratives meet the diverse, high-growth markets of the ASEAN region," Tan noted. He emphasized that Singapore acts as the vital node for this cross-border collaboration.
