Chia Hock Lai is a seasoned professional in the fintech industry with nearly 20 years of experience. He co-founded the Global Fintech Institute and is a member of the NTUC U-Care Fund. Chia Hock Lai is also the founding president of the Singapore FinTech Association and the founding chairman of the Blockchain Association of Singapore. He has worked with organizations like Singapore’s GovTech and NTUC Income, where he developed a deep understanding of fintech innovation and regulation. Under his leadership, the Singapore FinTech Association grew into a cross-industry, non-profit organization with over 350 member companies, 80% of which are fintech and blockchain firms.
