Innovation, Technology, and Arts Development Forum 2023

The “Innovation, Technology, and Arts Development Summit 2023,” organized by the Bauhinia Magazine, took place in Hong Kong on August 15th. With the theme “Web 3.0 Returns: Building a Golden New Beginning,” the summit aimed to facilitate the integration of innovative technology and cultural arts in Hong Kong, leading the wave of the digital economy.

In a video address, Hong Kong Chief Executive Li Kachi expressed that Hong Kong is fully committed to becoming an international hub for innovation and technology, as well as a center for cultural and artistic exchange between China and other countries. He emphasized that the convergence of art and technology is a new development direction to facilitate this goal. The Hong Kong government has allocated over HKD 100 million in funding through various programs to encourage the application of technology in the cultural and arts sector, promoting the developmen-t of art and technology. This funding has benefited 324 art and innovation-related organizations and individuals.

At the event, the digital art trading platform “Hong Kong Digital Art Network” was officially launched. Three sub-forums explored new opportunities in Hong Kong’s Web 3.0 development from various perspectives, including art, technology, and investment opportunities.
